Bicycling! February 22, 2009

Hey all! I know it’s been ages since I last posted, but I figure I might as well start up again. Hopefully I will keep it updated this time :D

So today is the last day of a week long break and it was very refreshing! Yesterday it was unusually nice weather for February so we pulled out the leashes and our bikes and took off towards the park.

I’ve never been much of a biker, that was always Meg, and she’s always asking if I’ll go with her. But nonetheless it was soo fun! I love how when you’re speeding down a hill (I never go too fast hehe) you can feel the wind pick up and your little arm hairs are going all over the place and you feel like you lost 50 pounds. Well that’s how it is for me at least :)

The dogs had a wonderful time, and I took pictures of myself with them, since I’ve rediscovered how much I love taking pictures (though my talent is not so great). So enjoy! Have a wonderful week!

Slighty Weird, But All Around Enjoyable; My Family July 31, 2006

Okay, let’s see, we’ll start out with my dad, Shaun. So he has recently, within the last year gotten a new jeep, but you can read all about that in my mom’s blog. He has a fascination with exotic animals, so we have a bunch of weird pets. Um,

  • 2 dogs
  • and 5 cats, not too bad
  • 4 snakes (3 are corn snakes, and 1 is a red-tailed boa constrictor)
  • 3 tarantulas
  • 3 different types of cock-a-roaches aka cockroaches
  • 1 albino African bull frog
  • 1 box turtle
  • 1 scorpion of unknown type, input from mom as: “the scary one”
  • Jenny, the guinea pig

Then there’s my mom, Susan. She worked at a preschool last year, and is in the process of becoming an artist. She used to scrapbook, do swaps and all that artsy stuff, but for whatever reason, stopped.

Then there’s my little sis, Mimi. She can most of the time be a pain in the butt, but she has her moments, jk. We love her anyways. She is just starting junior high, so that should be interesting and is obsessed with pigs, because of this book she read, Second Grade Pig Palls.

 There ya go.
